The part that gets to me is that I see sites that consistently stay at the top of rankings for keyphrases I am working for. I try to play by Google's rules, more content, more updates, but these pages and sites that never update stay at the top.
I work on getting more backlinks, but Google, more oft than not, ignores them. So I try to work to make google happier with my site, but that seems to hurt my rankings with yahoo and other engines.
It's like you're blasted if you do, and kanigited if you don't.
I know Google can be figured out with patience and work, but they make it so frustrating at times I want to shoot my computer.
Running a website and getting some sort of decent search ranking should not require us to act like bookies. "Who up today jack?"
