Traffic question

Hey fellow bloggers,

I am planning to create my own site but one question popped in my head about traffic. When you create your site and set everything up, is it better to buy backlinks, seo packages etc and wait for traffic to come itself or purchase influencer services & real human traffic ?

@xiffed imo it it better to rank first in google using SEO methods; this way you get natural targeted traffic, so you can check how people react to your blog and if they convert to your offers; then you can improve your blog to get better conversions and more traffic.

Only then would I purchase influencer services, otherwise the money is wasted if your site is not ready.

In the initial stage it is better to have a blog section in your website and adding contents frequently and promoting it on the social media platform. Spend some time with this and wait for the outcome. But yes, buying SEO services from professional is a good option too.

One should not buy seo backlinks. Work hard and build backlinks for your site naturally. Once you will be able to rank atleast one page on top, you will be able to rank others.

For traffic, promoting on social media is actually a good idea.

Actually, I would do the opposite. One time I made a site not knowing whether or not it was a niche/product that would convert well. By the time I ranked, I realized people weren't interested in purchasing it online. Had I paid and tested a few hundred clicks through adwords/bing, I would not have wasted my time doing SEO :)

If you have the money, you can test through adwords or facebook ads.
 
I suggest you to go with natural link building in the initial stage like you can reach other blogs in your niche for guest posting, that would helps a lot when your site is new.
 
Hi Mate,

Commoner humbly suggest doing organic seo in early stages.

Unless you got the capital, adword can be a good headstart and do seo along the way to boost visibility - Ads & Natural seems a good combination.

Tip: Paid search has to be targeted.

But get at least 10-20 articles up, before you start either, so that you have some base for people to get hooked on.
 
off page and on page SEO will solve your problem. Of course, if you have enough SEO quality content.
 
Do a mix of SEO/backlinks, social media, bookmarking, and articles/comments with links on high traffic sources. The non-SEO, or no-follow links may hasten your blog posts getting indexed, which will allow you to get to ranking the pages faster.
 
its better when you do your own SEO, and learn how to drive traffic most people sell fake and junk traffic
 
I think it really depends on many different things, like buddy up there said ^ " i realized people werent interesteed in buying it online" can happen actually, so i would say you should mix it along with facebook ads/ influencer marketing and then go from there actually.
 
Question is symbol of smartness as a biggner. So, I would like to suggest you SEO is good in starting.
