Traffic Question... Need Advice

i have a website that has good backlinks ranked on the second page, guest blog posts, social shares but all my traffic is coming from ads I set up. Very little to none organic traffic. Has a few low to med searched keywords.

What's should I do to get more organic traffic?

Just hit YouTube,daily motion and other video sites with high Da. Got 8 custom videos they are indexed. I rank on page two for multiple keywords and I appear two or three times on page two for every search.

Any ideas?

They say the best place to hide a dead body is Google's 2nd page.

Gotta rise up to the 1st page and conquer the top spots if you want traffic.
 
I did a lot of work this month so need to cool down a bit on linking but I will keep at it. Any ideas on How to jump up 6 spots in a healthy long term way?
 
Do your competitors have a better link profile? Say, wikipedia and news sites links?

I'd also try to get links from websites that rank higher up in the SERP - this is possible in some niches.
 
Two of the comp have pretty large link portfolios the rest are not that complex. I'll use scrape box and dig up what they are using and see if I can post/ add them to my site. Should I hit it with a PR? I have not done that yet and if will give me a bunch of high da news sites

Try to analyze and replicate all the backlink profile, keywords placement and social signals of top 3 in 1st page of google for the keywords you like to rank! but be sure to make it better! Rank 1 in google is 100% pure work but the fruit is sweet :) hardwork + patience = Rank 1

You have tryied to let him to gain traffic organic without driving traffic from ads?

ads make money and they are like a 70%+ close rate at 200$+ so to not run ads and go organic would kill a big part of the businesses income + a lot of that income can go back into seo

patience has nothing to do with it, I need to expand upon what I have and develop better ranking options or I stay in the spot I'm in. I just need to figure out new methods to what I'm doing now

Can you pay for a PR from a relevant news source - one that already has content and is ranking for niche keywords? I'd go for it.

Write content which are not only unique but also attract organic backlinks, which will help you the most. You should use long tail keywords .

Alright! You’re active on social media. Make sure that your backlinks are from authoritative sites and the content on your website makes sense to the readers. Write irresistible headlines and create unique content.

Try internal linking and post content on LinkedIn. If you’re having a large following on LinkedIn, sharing your posts will drive traffic to your site.

Make sure that your site is responsive for mobile devices and check the page speed of your site.
