traffic on wordpress blog

Hi guys,
I recently created a blog on wordpress only in Portuguese language but I have great difficulty in gaining traffic.
have seo optimized but still have very little traffic.
Any advice to gain more traffic (real traffic of course :))

There is a site called Blackhatworld.com (I'll hyperlink it for you) Now when you get there ask obscure questions about how to rank websites. I think they have a search function that hardly gets used so I'd assume it's in working order. GL
 
try getting on social media. google what network works best with your niche. also providing content & value are good ways to attract people. and you should be building an email list so you always have some traffic to fall back on
 
GA adwods is the fast way to drive the traffic for your blog
 
It's not easy to increase traffic in a short time. Writing high quality and unique content on a specific topic takes a lot of time.
 
As others pointed out, this is a tough question to answer. Answers to some of those questions would help ...

- What kind of website do you have?
- What kind of website do you want to build?
- How are you planning to do this?
- Do you focus on one specific topic? If so, which one. (Don't tell us the exact niche, just the broad category.)
- How many visitors do you get per day/ week/ month?
- Where do those visitors come from?

You don't need to answer all of those. But noone can really help or give a great tip if noone knows anything about the things you are trying to achieve.
 
Ugh. Just join forums relevant to your niche.
Stick a link to your site in your signature.
Make lots of posts.
Easy traffic.
 
Have you do 3 important things:

1. Keyword searching with Adwords's Keyword Planner for Portuguese language
2. SEO on page aka content - original, unique and copyscape 100%
3. SEO off page aka backlinking

Well, the fastest way to gain traffic would be to do PPC advertising with Adwords or Bing Ads. However, if you don't know what you're doing, you could lose a lot of money. If you want slower traffic, do on-page SEO (which you've already done) and build backlinks.

Did you do any level of research to know the amount of traffic you should be having?

If not, you should start with that. Link building is important at this point (since you're done with on-page SEO). Then use the social media.
 
If you're looking for the real traffic then it's not the simple one to get in short time.. Concentrate in the sites that related to your niche.. which means do SEO as you did with unique contents and move with that naturally.. you will get real traffic as you expected..
 
I am not so expert. I think language is a big fact of getting traffic. If you want to run your blog with Portuguese language, try local SEO. You may hire an expert of SEO

Fiverr is fine if you don't care about where the traffic is coming from. If the OP ever decides to monetise with Adsense, that Fiverr traffic, especially if any of it comes from bots, has the potential to get him banned.
 
just hire the seo of that language ,you don't want to hire american who won't speak Chinese to write Chinese
 
1. write more post
2. write a useful content
3. use the reddit
4. comment on the other blogs
5. use the twitter and facebook
6. don't stop and continue .....
 
HQ content, SEO, social media , free traffic works too, It can take some time before you start seeing results.
