Traffic just vaporized...

I have a really good blog, all original content, great design, that was getting over 1,000 uniques a day and then about noon yesterday all my traffic just vanished??? I was getting all organic from Google, Bing, and Yahoo, and suddenly I have none at all.

I have been to webmaster tools, no info there out of the ordinary, everything shows as fine, I have looked everywhere I can think to look and all is fine, site is up, nothing out of the norm, but Google analytics is reporting no traffic...

I don't know what to do... I actually really like this blog, I haven't even started to monetize it yet, but I'm just at a loss to understand what happened... One day I have a lot of traffic, the next nothing...

Anyone have any ideas? Could this be some sort of search engine dance? But to happen across all of the search engines? If you have any suggestions I can pass you the url in a pm to allow you to take a look... I've never seen this before...

Check if your website still index by Google, use this site:.yourdomain.com

You might have penalty by Google.

Did you check awstat on your Cpanel as well?

Yes..check if you penalized by google. But no worries there are lots of search engines out there that could give you good traffic...

Hopefully its just temporary, might just be doing the big G's dance. If some time has passed and it hasn't recovered start a new blog with a new domain and hosting etc.

did you update your theme, because that could have removed the tracking code from your site. Login to your analytics account select the site and click the admin tab then click the Property ID: then select tracking info, if you see this massage Status: Receiving Data then the tracking code is in place still.

Might be something related to analytic code side all your traffic vanished not just Google traffic.

check for any Google updates and or penalty's.

I am always curious if these sites ever come back? Do you have any updates or is it a lost cause?

This is the first thing that should be done.
No site should show 0 traffic because no site lose 100% of their traffic in one day.
We may get reduced traffic because of Google penalties, or from server problems, but surely we won't see zero traffic.
