Traffic from tiktok can't be seen.

So im advertising on tiktik as a test. I see 100 clicks but no visitors from tiktok on my website. Im looking at google analytic and use tawk chat so i see if someone is on my website. These 100 clicks seem made up. I dont see it. What do you guys think about this? Is tiktok faking it or is there something that i dont see.

TikTok isn’t likely faking the clicks, but there could be tracking issues. Check if your TikTok ad URLs have proper UTM parameters to track in Google Analytics. Also, some users might bounce quickly, so they don’t register as active sessions. Another possibility is ad fraud (bots clicking your ads), so monitor for unusual patterns in TikTok’s analytics. Maybe try heatmap tools like Hotjar to verify actual traffic behavior on your site

This is a very good suggestion. I suspect bots or people clicking on accident because the website is not that horrible that the bounce rate is so high.

So to understand this better. 100 clicks means more like 2/3 good clicks from people with real interest. Guess that is how advertising works.
 
you can't fake clicks on tiktok bro. it could be bots or users who are curious about your content and then leave. try optimizing your content to see if it works better

Yeah i think the content is pretty good. I guess i have got to figure this one out. Now at least i know for 20eur i get around 10 000 impressions and 150 clicks. I guess i can take this as a guideline and take it from here.

I have experienced this in the past and ended up opening a ticket on tiktok, and they told me that if a person likes, interact or view profile via ad it counts as a click

This is very interesting info. I thought something like this because if i look at the numbers in the Tiktok control panel and the numbers on the website it just does not make sense. Thank you for this.
 
When you run conversions do you add pixels so they can read the actual conversion clicks? But I don't think tiktok will fake those clicks.

No i never add pixel Yeah i understand know they dont fake it. But what they count as a view i find very questionable.
