Traffic from social websites OK / NOT

Hi,

I know a social website that can get me traffic that I need, so I'm thinking to place the link to my website on this social website, so people can land on the home page and see my advertisments.

Question is if advertisers would be cool with me having a website that gets traffic from social website ... (i'm working with cj offers)

I really don't think they'll mind, tho I've not worked with CJ, people from social networks are generally real people...(if they click on the link) though conversion rates may be lower cos you're not targeting the visitors.
Problems'll prob. come from junk traffic e.g. from auto surf sites.
