Hello, I want to ask that my blog has more than 80% traffic from social networks, is it stable and good for the future?
and I want to ask how is the bounce rate calculated? Is it the time users spend viewing the article or the time users stay on the website? Thank you.

There's nothing wrong with having your traffic coming from only social media. But just like with search traffic, you're at the mercy of the social media platform. So, what I'll recommend is diversify this traffic source by getting them to subscribe to email newsletter and get them to follow you on other social media platforms. That way, if you encounter issue with the current platform, you could still reach your visitors.

Bounce rate is basically the number of users who left the site after visiting/seeing just that landing page. They left without taking any action on your site.

Social traffic can fluctuate a lot, so I'd suggest you diversify with organic search traffic, email newsletters, etc

As for bounce rate, it’s not about time spent. It’s when users visit one page on your site and leave without interacting further (like clicking a link or visiting another page). They can spend a lot of time on the page and still "bounce" if they don’t take action. I'd say it's more about engagement than time.

To get traffic from email newsletters, you need to build a good list of subscribers, after you have a list of subscribers, you can send them with newsletters filled with latest or fun content you have. You can try platforms like Beehiiv to send newsletters.
 
Traffic some whatever sources be it's good.... Now try to engage them to your page. Make them spend time on your blog and put ads on your blog.

Everyone here explained you the bounce rate... The lower the bounce rate the better it is for your blog.

good design, fast loading speed, make your content more informative so that it makes your visitors want to stay longer

and use internal links to your related posts, these will help reduce the bounce rate

It depends on how engaged you are with your social media accounts.

Keep in mind that just because you get 80% of your traffic from social networks doesn't mean that traffic is automatically sustainable.

You have to have a publication plan where you are publishing content to many different social media platforms on autopilot.

You have to understand that, like most sites, 80% of your traffic will probably just come from only 20% of your social media accounts and other traffic sources.

Your job is to identify which traffic sources these are, scale them up, and cut back on everything else.

This way you concentrate where you are strong and you increase your chances that it will work.

It also helps to come up with links that will give you more fine-tuned information so you can streamline your traffic generation process later on.
