That's what I see. Yet my audience is there, because my latest project is selling antiques and vintage.FB groups are dead. Results are very poor.
I guess it is. When I share it without links, the posts usually get likes. Is your content really valuable to share? If the content is just spam, the results will be low.
Now a days FB group admins do not allow link posting. If you are are getting allowed by the admins then you are really lucky.I'm a member of about 50 Facebook groups related to my content niche, and I'm trying to drive traffic to my website. While the group admins allow my links (they're never flagged as spam), the traffic I'm getting is minimal.
I've noticed an interesting pattern: if I stop posting links for two days, the next post gets more clicks than what I'd get over the following 4-5 days of regular posting. It's almost as if Facebook limits how many outbound clicks a domain can receive.
Even though it's 2025 and this might be old news, I'm wondering how to effectively drive traffic from Facebook groups. Should I:
- Use multiple domains with copies of my site?
- Use redirect links (Twitter, Bitly, etc.)?
- Create multiple Facebook accounts to post links to the same domain?
What are the current best practices? Any insights would be appreciated.
Thank you!

You should share your group on other social media to attract views. Share content relevant to your target audience
Thank you for the insightful posts guys. I mean, it was a like a revelation. To attract traffic, your Facebook Page needs to have clear images, Short but informative content.
That's a very good idea, thanks. I will drop links with different text every time.could be a limit on the interactions or visibility because spam, not spam type to get a ban but because the post is always the same wording and link try to change it from time to time I don't think is because usage cap on your side.
