Traffic for affiliate opt-in page

I've been lurking on this forum for a while and decided to make a move on IM. Going to try and promote affiliate products via email marketing.

I have a product, opt-in page, and auto responder set up.

Next step is to drive targeted traffic to the opt-in page. Any advice on the best place to start?
Considering Facebook ads, but I've blown money on them before without getting results.

Have a lot to learn, and tips are much appreciated.
