1) check for manual penalty in gsc 2) check for negative seo 3) if all is good shoot some strong links and add some fresh content if this too fails do a site audit

How old is your website?

How many articles do you have on it?

What time did you start getting traffic/saw the drop in traffic? (Was it during some of the broken Google updates that were pushed?)

this happened to me mid-july with no explaination/reason for the drop. took about 2 weeks and mine went back to normal, but was weird as hell

Sounds like a penalty or manual action taken to me. Are there any alerts in your Google Console ?

Same here, the site went downhill from the last shitty update

Checked if all the content is still indexed? So you didn't make a technical SEO mistake which made it deindexing from SERP. Or if you have a crawling problem with google.

Assuming that you don’t have a manual penalty, it’s most likely an error. Your traffic should go back to normal within a few weeks. Not a pleasant thing to experience, I’m sure, but these things happen.

Same here, 90% of my traffic dropped in july. Started increasing again last week.

Check your site map for any errors in the search console

Did you change any URLs? if so did you redirect correctly

or try to post new contents and build some high-quality links and wait

Hi!

I did face a similar situation. but you need to check your website if it's still indexed.
if so all's goods but still you need to check if the keywords you are ranking at are note seasonal.
guess this might be it.

let me know if this is case.

good luck bud!

It could be a temporary problem with Google Analytics - like an update or something like that.

- hosting changed to VPS

r u sure the analytics code is working after changing the hosting? CTRL+U => search for analytics code in the pages is it there? another good way to check this is: open a tab - visit your site - on another tab - check live analytics - do u see 1 visitor there? wait for sometime - check from another computer - if still no visitor then maybe the code is not working properly or might have been removed during the transfer.
