Traffic drop after disavowing some sites

My blog ( well one of my best written articles ) started being linked from spammy coupon sites , video sites , ads sites - so I disavowed like 40 of them ( some were ******** , most nofollow )

Why I disavowed them ?

-The articles that were getting spammed started to fall down in ranking so I thought the spammy links are at fault


Should I remove the disavow list ? Is this only temporary?

Recommend to wait for few days to notice any improvements. We can't come conclusion quickly.

You should wait atleast few weeks to see if you regain your lost rankings after disavowing them

Better to wait for a few days before taking any decision. Analyze the site performance and keep monitoring the backlink profile.
