Traffic & CTR - SERP factor?

Do direct/organic Traffic and CTR - help with SERP ranking?

@kopiah

CTR or Click-Through-Rate is part of search engine optimization or SEO. It affects SERP ranking, wherein the more viewers click through, the more your website gets the chance to rank up. A few tips will include optimizing your website's title, meta description, and URLs. Aside from CTR, the traffic is also another factor that can help your website in organic ranking.

Yes they are. Note that there are about 200 ranking factors that affect your rankings( though not all carry the same value).

The organic CTR is largely based on ranking position, but it is influenced by a result's title tag, description, and URL.

The direct traffic doesn't affect your sites directly. But the google uses CTR to rank articles in SERPs.

If your content is best your CTR will automatically high but if its not you know then what. And if you alter page’s title and description for high CTR it could increase CTR but if content is not good then users will not stay long on your page. This indicates low quality content to Google and now Google will lower down your website rankings.

But it would be a very small factor among the hundreds of signals Google uses for ranking.

If your site hosts great content to keep the audience on page, CTR spikes up.
