yes it helps ranking on google, or manipulate google analytics for sure. On my experience there is not any good tool that you can just buy and run, then wait for the website to rank. You always have to work smart in order to success. So when i have created a software that worked for my type of website, i took in consideration how all the system may work in order to not be detected as spam from google. So having a various IP is something very important also referrals (not just change header request isn't enough)
