Hi Guys,

I have site which is getting solid organic traffic and monetizing via content.ad.

I want to look at purchasing traffic (from native advertising networks) and sending it to my site, converting the traffic via ads/affiliate programs.

Can anyone recommend any good courses or online forums (like stack that money) on traffic arbitrage, specifically on optimizing the cost per thousand pageviews versus the revenue per thousand pageviews.

Or can anyone provide any advice on this subject?

Cheers.

I wish it was as simple as buying cheap traffic and converting it into higher value clicks.

If that was the case, everybody and his dog would be doing this.

The problem is that it's not that simple.

You have to make sure that your traffic blend can convert whatever page you're driving them to.

The more specific your traffic is, the more expensive it will be.

This is especially true if most of your traffic is from the United States, Canada and other high-value regions.

You use social networks like facebook, instagram , etc to get more traffic or you can look for suppliers in Marketplace.

I've been doing the same thing for 6 months now. My best days, i'd break even (from bought traffic to converted onsite traffic with the Widgets). Im still looking for a good source of not-so-expensive CPC native traffic, to convert it with my widgets and other tools like you. It is, indeed, not an ease job as everybody will tell you. If you find some good sources, please share. So far, I've tested MGID (not that good), Content.ad (expensive, even though I have creatives with high CTRs, and Im buying Non commercial), Advertise.com (still expensive). Best shot so far: Facebook traffic, but you have to find content / articles that stick and make you lower your cpc. I've seen 0,02 cpc with my fb mobile traffic. Hope this helps.

If you need real traffic. You can spend money with content marketing. Daily Blog Updates to relevant blogs. Article Marketing, Social Media(facebook, instagram,..) is best way to get viral traffic and also you get social authority also.

Really difficult nowadays, there are so many professional players. It's like PPC arbitrage, the golden years are over for quite a time. In the past, knowledge and experience gave you a serious advantage, but today it's more and more about having the most powerful tools and the biggest pile of data.

Amen to that. These days, players like me, we are trying to use 'other' methods for traffic buying (I come from the Adult Industry), meaning that we are trying to find places where buying traffic is not going to cost us a fortune, and still we get real users that will click on Widgets / Adsense
