Do you think traditional SEO is becoming obsolete, or simply evolving with time ?

Agreed. LLM ranking = the new SEO. ‘LLMO’ is coming!

do you know how to naturally get in llms response for generic queries?

If your content ranks #1-5 on Google, it’s more likely to appear in AI answers.

Good SEO still helps, but AI companies (like OpenAI) now pay to scrape paywalled or blocked content (via deals like Cloudflare's 'AI Tunnels'). So, ranking high + controlling access (via robots.txt) might be the new game :)

that will help bloggers monetize better but i don't think openai would pay for such an thing

With AI taking up more and more spots on the SERP, it's slowly dying. There are keywords that you'll search on, you'd end up reading everything you need on the first page of the result without clicking on any site.

Google is slowly killing everything by keeping as much traffic to itself, as possible.

tbh I barely use Google anymore. I use Claude preferably but to save on Claude's limits I also use ChatGPT. And of course YouTube. Those are my go tos for information I previously would have used Google for.

I still do SEO as part of my business marketing strategy. I think it’s very important to be everywhere I can be for someone who is looking for the content and products I create and promote. If I can control my own rankings why wouldn’t I? Whether it’s “dead” or not is not my concern. We aren’t the only ones scraping googling. Ai scrapes Google too.

It has always been evolving.. Those who has been present since early 2010s know the frequent changes on how SEO worked.

It can never die, it will evolve forever!

Absolutely! SEO has been evolving non-stop, and those who adapt with the changes always stay ahead.

Traditional SEO isn’t dead... it just retired with a long beard and a dusty checklist.

Meet its modern babies:

- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) – born talking to ChatGPT
- AIO (AI Optimization) – raised by algorithms
- GEO (Geolocation Optimization) – knows where you are before you do
- LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization) – trained on 3 billion bedtime stories

The old gang (On-Page, Off-Page, Content, Technical) still comes around on holidays, but the real action? That’s in the nursery.

SEO is definitely not dead it's just not what it used to be.Search engines are evolving, and so are SEO strategies. Old-school tricks like keyword stuffing or low-quality backlinks don’t work anymore. Now it's more about topical authority, relevance, and user experience. Those who adapt and keep testing are still getting great results.

Spot on! SEO isn’t dead, it just got smarter. Topical authority, UX, and relevance rule now. Adapt and win :)

Search engines are changing, and SEO is also changing. The core value is still that your niche market can meet user needs.
