I recently got an email stating that i'm going to have legal action taken against me because i'm using a similar name (using an i instead of an l) in my twitter account and essentially faking the name logo and all in order to gain more followers.. This guy is threatening me with legal action because his "company" is trademarked will twitter do anything like suspend my account?.. should i be concerned or is this laughable?

Legal action most likely will not happen (unless the company is huge), but I see no reason for Twitter to not suspend your account or force you to change your username after he puts in a complaint.

i'd change. I have gotten email from twitter legal team before and threatening to suspend my account just because I had a bird as my picture similiar to twitter. wasn't impersonating i was #TeamFollowBack.

Also in my history whenever they suspended my accounts i never ever get them back.. even with tons of tickets.

so to be safe. might want to consider switching. just my opinion.
