I found a domain name I like but unsure if it's trademarked or not.
There's a trademark for part of the domain name, but not the whole. I will give an example.
If the trademark word is "blizzard", is it okay to buy a domain and create a website called "theblizzard" ?
I checked and the word itself is trademarked, but not if I put "the" before and I don't intend to steal their business or copy anything from them or even be in the same niche - I just like the name.

Not sure about it is allowed or not but I had tipsforfacebookads and I got a notice from them.
I think that's different though, cause facebook is a completely unique name, like Google is too. But blizzard is a name of a weather phenomen, not unique for the game company.

Also your content was most likely related to facebook, mine won't be related to their niche.
But I'm still scared if I work hard on it and some lawyer come steal it, lol.

Your example would be fine as long as it's related to something else and not blizzard or gaming in general (to be safe). It really just depends on the brand name and how you're going to use it. Is it a unique name, or is it just a modifier word, These are the things that come to mind. Also no matter how safe you think you are, You could always be dealing with an overzealous company who will try to enforce anything with even a hint of their name in it. So i really can't give you a solid answer with the information you provided because of all the variables that go into it. (dont post your shit here tho, someone will just steal it lol). I got bent over by yahoo once for example, but thats a pretty branded name.

If I created "TheAmazonShop.com" that could be infringing copyright, but if I did "TheAmazingAmazonPlace.com" it gets harder to see if it really infringes copyright.

It depends on the topic, suffixes and prefixes added.
