Trade restricted country

facebook new payment method

I just wanted to replace a credit card, and received this message:

“Trade restricted country
Unfortunately your purchase couldn't be completed because of trade restrictions on the country you're in.”

My current credit card expired, so added a new one. BM is in USA and both credit cards from Costa Rica.

FB support want a screenshot and the browser.

Are they smelling that I use an anti-detection browser and proxy?
Anybody had this issue?

i think you can add another credit card when you pay the amount to facebook

You can open more cards from other banks

Use a Vpn or if you can get out of it

Your Facebook BM's country is USA, so ensure that in the payment page of Facebook, the country of payment/billing is USA before you again try to enter (fill) the card details for trying to make a payment again.
Your credit cards from Costa Rica : Do note that although the cards may be issued by a bank in Costa Rica, however the bins of the card may be of some other country. The bin of a card is the first 6 (six) digits of the card and you can check the bin's country using https://www.bincodes.com/bin-checker/ , https://binlist.net/ , https://www.freebinchecker.com/ , https://bincheck.io/
Another wild (very wild) guess : Do you have the country of the card as a country that you have added to https://www.facebook.com/help/778445532225441 that may be linked to that Facebook BM ?
