I've started monitoring clicks per ad unit on parked domains rather than just overall traffic. While some have moderate traffic and high engagement, others have a ton of visits but no clicks. How can you tell which parked domains are actually doing well?

Track only what drives money: traffic source (via UTMs), conversions, and CPA. Use GA4 + a simple dashboard to see which channels bring conversions, not just clicks. Ignore vanity metrics follow what actually leads to sales/signups.

Track the Effective Revenue per Mille (eRPM). A domain with high traffic but zero/low clicks is worthless. Focus on domains with a high click-to-visitor ratio and test different ad layouts/placements only on those.

Hi, tixe

Clickthrough patterns matter more than raw traffic because intent signals usually reveal the real earners.
Indeed, unfiltered traffic can be deceptive. Instead of focusing only on traffic, I've started giving priority to domains with persistent click intent. The high-traffic, no-action domains typically perform worse than those small but focused ones.

Indeed, eRPM provides a complete picture. I’ve discovered that fewer visitors with strong click intent outperform enormous traffic with no engagement. I've been able to identify the top performers by testing layouts just on the high-CTR domains

When you start looking at performance per ad unit instead of just raw traffic, you quickly see that not all parked domains with lots of visits are actually valuable. A “good” parked domain is one that converts traffic into revenue, not one that simply attracts eyeballs.

The higher the CTO, the higher your ad will appear
