Hi,
Can anyone tell me why there's such a huge difference in the stats of google analytics and aw stats?

and which one is the most accurate?

...also, my awstats are always miles higher than google analytics. Around 5:1

What is awstats recording that analytics aren't?

i think google analitics count a new (unique) visitors, but awstats counted all visitors.

Analytics is best tool so far in my experience... You can digg and get lots of data from them... Awstats are ok and give you only basic idea...

Is your Google Analytics code appearing on every page of your site? Please check that first

Both are good, GA however won't count if a user has blocked Analytic (using no script/ad block). So GA usually has less visitors count.

People use awstats? I've never heard awstats to be anything near accurate. It's been that way for years.
