Hi Guys,

I have a site that is getting both organic traffic , aswell as im promoting it through Adwords. Im a total noob at tracking, so i wanted to ask whether it would be possible to track everysingle click coming from adwords + To also see / find out , whether that click converted Or what did the user do on the site / behaviour statistics.

All in all, I would like to track via Adwords as much as possible.

Best Regards.

V.

Google Analytics is a really good option and it's incredibly easy to setup with Adwords. Conversion Tracking is fairly straightforward, you just need to insert a snippet of code on the "Thank You" page.

Google analytics would be my #1 choice, with a linked Google webmaster account :)
Best of luck,
Stoudmire

Im probably not the most tech savvy person, as i really cant understand on how to set G analytics up properly? Where could i find some basic help ?

Im willing to hire someone to help me a little bit with G analytics ...

Voltaire,

To set up an analytics account, visit google.com/analytics. If you already have an adwords account, login using those credentials. You will have to enter your website's URL and some other information. You will then be asked to install the tracking code on your website. You will need access to your website's source code. Install the code snippet provided by Google into the head section (<head></head>) of your website. Then follow the rest of the steps at this link,

Hope that helps you,

Shawn

If you are still having issues I will help you out for free, it only takes about 10 minutes as long as your trying to track something simple like a thank you page after a form submit. pm me if you need help.

Analytics show clicks from everywhere even from adwords. If you want to track the results from paid advertising then you can simply track the conversions you are getting from adwords.

definetly google analytics, now if u have on mobile then it doesnt work the same, it only works if u have mobile app not mobile ws

TheContentAuthority outlined the basics, after that make sure the option "Auto-tagging" is checked in you Adwords settings. With that feature turned on, you'll be able to see all that stats you wanted (behavior etc) by filtering paid search in your Analytics account.

This is the best tip here - Dont forget the "auto-tagging"!

you don't really need analytics to track your adwords campaigns. you can (and should) use conversion tracking in adwords.

The conversion tracking in Adwords is Good, Google Analytics is also Good, also you can look upon prosper202, it is also good.

Adwords conversion tracking will just track conversions but it can't show you behavior stats.

Analytics can show you behaviour stats for Adwords clicks (and you can even see those stats in Adwords interface if you connect your AW and Analytics accounts)

Prosper202 is a bit advanced, takes time to set up and I think you need server to host it. And I'm not sure if it provides you with behaviour stats.
