Hi,

Some people thinks it's crap while others like it.

I actually like it. I use it and the .edu plugin, as well as the comment poster.

I've had good results getting backlinks with it. Probably what I like the most about it is I can set it and forget it. I build way to many pages to babysit a backlink poster.

cheers for that chris any chance of a quick share to try before i decide to buy as 106 euros is a lot of money for me at the moment , christmas season
 
I'm sorry, I can't share the copy I have. The copy I have calls home. Because I like it, I don't want to risk losing the license I paid for.

You're mistaken. They are the developer's urls. Same place I had purchased from also.

I have Trackback Submitter, I am just not happy with it. I am definitely not getting links at a good speed.

I am not as experienced as most all of you are, but I was totally under the impression I would get trackbacks quick and this will not happen, so that is why I am unhappy.

You only get a 3-day return policy unless it has changed.

Now that being said the creator will bend over backwards to help you, and usually answers all email within 24 hrs.

I guess if you are looking for trackbacks fast I could not recommend, however if you are looking for a set and forget type of thing based on what SmallStorm said it will work out for you.

I'll tell ya I'm all for giving cus I been receiving I just don't know how to.

SmallStorm brings up a good point about the key.

In the welcome email it is stated "When installing this software, you understand that once installed, software will connect to our system and your server IP address (where software was installed) and server details will be stored on our
database.

Anybody have any ideas?
 
You could try blocking it from calling home in your HOSTS file.

If you're using Windows, go to your HOSTS file in /system32/drivers/etc. Add the following lines:

Code: 
127.0.0.1   submit-trackback.com
127.0.0.1   www.submit-trackback.com

Save and give it a shot. That will block the callback, but you may still not authenticate. I don't have Trackback Submitter, so I can't try it for you.

Hmm, so let me get this straight. You guys want to have this big bloated script because you want reports or you want to see what's happening and when? Because the sales letter does a good job hiding that this script has only one feature and that's posting a trackback to certain url from certain url. This can be done with few lines of PHP.

If you seriously want to scale your business someday and automate the hell out of your process, try to avoid "bloated scripts" like this. This just slows you down.
 
Do any of you add your own trackback urls into the Add Trackback URLs section and get results?

I don't mind if this software takes a bit of time to get the trackbacks (within reason) but I can't get this software to work when I paste a list of urls in Add Trackback section.

To you guys/gals who like this particular software, do you just input keywords and let it do its thing or ??

Maybe I should try that.

My opinion is still neutral until I get it working
 
Does anyone have similar tools they would recommend.

Also, the offer is still out for anyone who can offer marketing services. Looking for a sharp pro.
