Track Twitter username availability and get notified when available

Today, I came across this free tool called Handlescout.

I can't post the link as I'm still a newbie

This site lets you track the availability of any Twitter username.

Sometimes you want a username that's either taken or suspended. Suspended usernames are not immediately available for others to take.

In either case, you can use the tool to track the availability and get notified by email whenever the username is available.

How fast is the notification though? People with private bots not only get a faster notification they even grab the username up as soon as it becomes available.

Not a bad idea but be way better if it did the same for all social media

I have no idea about speed. I found the tool in the top list on Product Hunt. Reviews are pretty awesome. I hope it works instantaneously.

Honestly, it's better to not wait for anything just because a handle is unavailable. Just start cranking out text, tweets, replies -- it'll pay off soon enough.

Of course, there's no harm in waiting for your ideal handle to be available _while_ doing the above already!
