So I have a campaign that the intent is to generate leads via phone calls.

However, as I'm sure many of you know, Microsoft is well behind the times and offers no call tracking like Google does.

So, what call tracking service would be best for me to use to track conversions?

Really the only thing I care about is Bing Integration capabilities. And the ability to specify "count calls as a conversion after X seconds".

I've looked at CallRail already, but I think they're on the expensive side.

Or is there a way to track phone call conversions that I don't know about without the need of third party call tracking?

Thank you to anyone who can provide some insight!

If you’re in the US search Google Analytics call tracking beta (free).

Otherwise ResponseTap, Infinity Call Tracking, MediaHawk and CallRail paid options.

There is a piece of JavaScript that can switch numbers based on a parameter you set in the URL - I have it somewhere and could dig it out if you like. You would need your own tracking number to divert ($5/m range).

I'm in the US and my traffic is all US-based, but I can't seem to find the Google Analytics call tracking beta you're talking about.

Could you share a link?

I've run into the same limitations with Bing Ads not offering native call tracking like Google. After trying out several third-party tools, I ended up going with Phonexa. It offers seamless call tracking with customizable conversion parameters—like counting a call after X seconds—and it integrates well with Bing through offline conversion uploads. What’s even better is that it centralizes all our lead data from calls, forms, and emails, making optimization and reporting much easier. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a scalable, all-in-one solution.

Bing won’t do it natively, so you’ll need a third-party. CallTrackingMetrics or Twilio works fine and you can set call duration rules, usually cheaper than CallRail if you manage it right.

Bing’s behind on call tracking, so you’ll need a third-party. Look into cheaper options like WhatConverts or even Twilio setups if you’re techy-they’ll let you set call length rules and still track conversions.

Use a third-party like CallTrackingMetrics or WhatConverts – both integrate with MS Ads and let you set call duration as a conversion, cheaper than CallRail depending on volume.
