Hey guys, so I'm trying to make money off of torrents. Now I'm uploading the torrents that I made (with utorrent) to The Pirate Bay. I made an account and activated it and everything. But whenever I try and upload the torrent, I'm getting a "filesize error" message EVERY time. Even with different torrents that I made. How do I fix this?

Thanks!

Straight from ThePirateBay forums:

Why does it say "Error: Filesize error"?

Because the torrent you're trying to upload contains a file that is too large or small for the category you're trying to upload to. eg. a 120MB .avi file is acceptable as a Music Video but not as a Movie. Upload into a different category.
With my short experience with torrents, I'd say ...

Fuck ThePirateBay.

Thanks lol, but I really need to increase my income to around 3-5 grand a month and I'm willing to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING necessary. I'm uploading a 25mb file to videos lol, probably not gonna work. Thanks a bunch!

Its not about working hard. you are just doing it wrong

piratebay is way too strict, and bans too quickly
try other sites, and upload more. that way you can earn more

Thanks guys, this has been most helpful. Can anyone direct me to some good torrent sites for this then? Or just send me a link to a thread here that has them?

Thank you tons!

I've had pretty good success with TPB but it took lots of testing and uploading. It's a numbers game so the more you upload the more will stick :)

The trick with TPB is mixing in original uploads with your modified ones. And the more clever you are about disguising your methods, the better.

are there any torrent sites that pay for traffic? like file hosting sites

not that i know of

bittorrent sites are free even the private ones, they make money via ads and donations and not after downloads/you can't buy premium accounts there either, i mean you can if you donate, but it's totally different than file hosting sites, they're more like a forum from this POV, if you donate you'll get VIP/donor status and access to goodies what the mortals can't get and/or more download/upload slots, 10-100 GB upload etc.

Demonoid and Isohunt, although Isohunt is pretty strict sometimes.

no need to upload to isohunt and they are really not strict.
just upload to TPB and btjunkie and isohunt will scrape from there.
no matter what you upload.

Well if he kept getting banned from TPB, then Isohunt was a good alternative, as everything I upload there gets insta-scraped by pretty much every other torrent site.

I also agree that BTJunkie is pretty good, I should probably start using it again.

that mean your account got banned from piratebay, I need change IP computer, but not mean that you use proxy.
