Towards a Better Future - YouTube + CPA

The BackStory
I was thinking I don't have to make a journal but the more the days are passing by I feel the need to create one.

About me: I am 23 years old and graduated university this spring. Now the summer is over and I need to find a job but the thing is that I really don't like the field I studied (information technology). I graduated just to get some kind of education and because of my parents.

I started doing IM in January 2012. I started with micro niche sites with adsense and clickbank products on them. I have about 7 sites and I was able to only rank one of them in top 10. That site had no monetization value but brought in 15 ?/month for 2 months. A couple of days ago the site fell in rankings and now is receiving about 70 visitors/day.. as before it got 350. I have tried to rank MNS-s with no competition and Google has always hated me.

As of now, I have about 3 weeks to prove my parents that I can make some money online or I will have to go and search for a job.
I have given up on SEO, it's slow as hell and giving me almost no results for more than half a year. It's so annoying that you can try your best and you have no idea what the f*ck Google wants.

My plan
I signed up with CPA Beyond a week ago and for the past 3 days I have done youtube commenting with a link to my site witch has a content locker set up.

Stats for today
clicks on offers: 51
conversions: 0
money made: 0$

I already posted in CPA forum but I am finding it weird as hell that my offers have had more than 70 clicks and no conversions. I have had clicks on 8 different offers and nothing.. Maybe I am showing too many offers at one time (8)?

Also I find it hard to get offers that are international. If anybody has some experience in why the offers don't convert then I'd really like to hear them.

You have to test different offers and networks all the time. The conversions depend on the traffic quality. If the traffic is not targeted enough, you can get many clicks and zero leads. CPA is all about testing and experience. Just dont lose motivation and dont give up. It is not walk in the park.

I would definitely suggest that u use less offers. I'm with cpabeyond also and I show one offer at a time on my lockers and I average around 15% conversion.

SEO has not changed much to be honest, Google only started enforcing the law of recent. If you understand the system, read their TOS, you will not have problem.

In the case of inability to rank your site on Google, what exactly are you doing.

I can tell you categorically that it's pretty much easier to rank now with a clean system.

A lot of people are lost in the SEO world and many have given up leaving the space vacant and uncompetitive and when someone with little knowledge of SEO see authority sites everywhere they assume Google just gave them love. That is not true, if you can do some quality SEO you can outrank authority site in medium/low competition because they don't do as much SEO as ordinary webmaster will because they are ranking in lots of places that made it impossible to focus squarely on a keyword.

WAY too bad conversion. Use one offer from Top Converting section (I use AutoPriceFinder for USA and ZIINGA for int), and it will convert much better.

Hmm.. that's a good idea. I actually got inspiration from your thread. The problem is that my niche is movies and about 50% of people are from all over the world and only 14% is US. So, it's really important for me to get an international offer and a US offer (US offers pay better). Any good offer suggestions?

I was making do follow blog comment backlinks from blogs that had pr 0-4 and they all had 0-4 max OBL. I made 10 of those per day for a couple of weeks only to see my sites never appear in SERPS again or just to be buried in 50+ place. I tried EMD domains with no backlinks and a lot of unique content, spot 14.. added couple of backlinks.. no movement, I also did WEB 2.0 blogposts and social bookmarks. All the keywords were REALLY low competition, no optimization on first page of G and very low amount of backlinks.

Hmm.. the autopricefinder is saying it's for US but in content locker menu it says it's INT. And what version of ZIINGA? They have for different countries but not for all of them together. I'd have to add ZIINGA portugal, spain, New Zealand, Australia etc separately. Thanks for your help

Ps. Is the CPA Beyond content locker down? It doesn't load in my browser..

Any suggestions on particular email offers? I can't test them from here because I'm not from US.

Are you varying your keywords?
Using unique content?
Is your site content copyscape passed?
Did you stick to the 2% keyword density?

There are different factors that can make a site lose ranking.

I have had a client in the past who was doing everything correctly but do not always rank well or keep losing ranking.

After a close examination on this WP site, we discovered that the way he setup the categories make the site to have duplicate content. Immediately it was fixed and some back links where sent it bounced to the 2nd page of the search and have been growing steadily without any lose in ranking or PR.

APF is USA only offer, and ZIINGA has offers for some countries but not all. I have 2 lockers, one say something in line of Complete quick and free Auto Price Finder offer, and it's for usa traffic only, second says complete Free ZIINGA offer and it's for ZIINGA supported countries.. Rest of traffic (unsupported by ZIINGA) goes to mgcash/adscend/ppd.

I use adworkmedia, it has "Top Rated US email submits". I usually choose from there, which convert best and which has best EPC. It might not payout so much, but if it converts better and EPC is better, then go for it!

test with one network at a time.. I am with peerfly and once i'll get a decent earning from them ($100 is decent enough for me) I'll add up and test another cpa network in my arsenal.

I did CPA for a little but so I can only offer limited advice. First, it appears like the stack that money forum are the authority when it comes to CPA marketing. The cost is $99 bones a month but from what I saw in my one month subscription, they definitely have info that can help you succeed. Another benefit about that forum is that the majority of the Affiliate Managers for the best CPA networks are active members, so if you need to get accepted quickly into a preffered CPA network, you can easily do so through the forum.


You have a degree in degree in IT so you should be able to find a job fairly quickly. There is nothing stating that you can't do both. I have a full time job and still try to be successful at this thing, so I know you can too. You have to believe you can. Also, you will have to be persistant to succeed. You may fail many times before earning your decent dollar, especially if your learning by yourself like most of us did. Eventually we all become successful at this because we learn from our mistakes, always stay hungry, and learn from senior members on the forums.

I was studying for the GMAT consistantly up until 2 weeks ago. I just felt that it was a road that I wan't going to be happy with. Good luck to your success and if you need any advice, your at a goldmine. Cheers.
