It's not really helpful, more so I just would like to keep track of how many words I've written. Also, a plugin of this nature would be relatively lightweight and wouldn't necessarily have any negative effects at all. Rankmath would slow your site down more drastically than any such plugin.Nice one. I dont know how a wordcount of the whole site is helpful, may be for a small site. it only adds another plugin to the number of plugins to your site which you wanna use wisely.
I use wordcounter.net to check the word count of a post or a page and rankmath free when I have added them to the website which are very helpful.
Thanks buddy, I'll give that a try. This is what I use, does what you need, I don't need to upgrade.

As far as I understood, this plugin is actually working only when you save the post or recounting via settings. It doesn't add anything to the "rendering website" part of WordPress, only to the dashboard. If you got PHP skills, you may want to check it out before using it, I could be wrong on this. But I didn't notice any changes in speed because of it.Nice one.
