Torrenting still works?

Hello guys. i wonder if torrenting still works or not any newer guide what has changed and what is not? i guess it ain't as easy as before to sort out newly created accounts so i should buy ready made accounts + cryptor + downloader what so ever. what's next? or You do use an other methods such as usenets?

by the way for the mobile PPIs appstore nor playstore would allow it. so how to promote it as well?
