Torrentator - Auto Torrent Submitter (BETA)

guess no more betas for us
will have to wait for release then

Going to try this out tonight, finally got the time! Will report back in this thread with initial thoughts!

I'll beta test it!!! If you need people... I'll give constant feed back as well.. Looks cook

First Impressions

+ It's VERY easy to navigate, UI is very nice and simple and everything is self-explanatory.

Some Bugs:

- Account logins did not save for me upon exit. I guess I should export the settings and import them for now.
- Some torrent sites do not require logins, it would be helpful to state next to them that they don't require you to sign up//don't require a sign up

I tried adding a torrent and what happened was that the open file and the program typing in the torrent name kept coming up over and over again.

Also after a while it would come up with an error and wouldn't stop. The Remove from Queue button on file does not work as well, it would keep trying to upload the torrent.

Going to try again!

All in all thi sinterface is beautiful and the potential this program has is a lot!

Will report back!

--Also Q: Can i have access to the newer version 0.75? update button does not work.

--Adding more

This time I got some better rates, but I had a pretty long description and on some of the sites it took a while to type it all out. Also is it supposed to open 4 IE windows at a time and put in some info?

All in all I got 4 Links looking at the Report, but the thread is still showing PENDING on status on site Monova

Thanks

Hey OP, should you need an extra tester, I'll be happy to help. Torrents are one of the things I do and I've been a pro coder for years so I should be able to identify areas where the app might have weaknesses. Just consider letting me know. Thx!

@chipmunk951

Thanks for your feedback, we are leaving update/licensing/proxies until the very end because all that needs to be done is to port some code over.

I have PM'd you the latest beta version (0.80)

Thanks,
Rick

Even with debug mode unchecked a few of the sites still have IE pop up. Ex: Fenopy/SumoTorrent, seems like it's those sites that require a login. Remove from queue still does not work.

It'd be great if the report could also generate a report with just live links found if possible.

(on 0.8)

I get this error whenever I try to add something to q now and can't seem to get rid of it.

"SQLite Error
near "s" :syntax error"

I've been following your Yahoo Answers software thread and I must say that I'm deeply impressed with the level of support you provide to your customers and how often you've updated the software. I'm subscribing to this thread and will definitely buy this when you release it.

@chipmunk951

PM'd you with some extra details. Essentially, there is either an error in the title of the torrent or folder name where it or Torrentator is located. Make sure there are not extra dots or apostrophes where there shouldn't technically be any.

@everybody

I appreciate all the interest, but all the current beta spots are closed until next week. There should be a final beta ready by then which I'll hand out to a greater number of people.

Remember the sole purpose of a beta is to give feedback not just to score your hands on a free app! ;)

@ThumperTM

Apologies for not directly getting back to you, but if you read my posts earlier in the thread you can see that the beta is currently closed until the next update. I have a few criteria I look for in beta testers which I then handpick from the replies in the thread and PMs.

Hmm I'm still getting

""SQLite Error
near "s" :syntax error""

Everytime I try. There are only spaces in the name. Torrent is from my Desktop. It worked fine yesterday but only on my first torrent. Can't seem to upload a second torrent.

Saw Decaptcher intergration, any chance of DeathByCaptcha?
