I of course want to and have to buy them as well, but I have a new Kindle, and am a bit disabled, would REALLY like to find an alternative way to carry my books - and e-format is the way to go, clearly?

I'm not sure if we're there yet with publishing companies and whatever else is involved in these superpriced books but eventually they'll all be in e-format...just curious if there's anything out there yet.

    Thanks all.

You would probably do well to get an account with Usenet.
They have tons of college textbooks in digital format.

Also, you might want to visit the site HERE.

You can also try some of the warez sites, they have a nice selection of textbooks too. I know when this semester started I searched all over for downloads for my textbooks. I found most of them online, but some I just had to bit the bullet and rent them from chegg
