For all of those who use password + ppd/content locker method, how do you seed your torrents? Do you use seedbox or vps/dedi? And how long do you seed them?

just get the cheapest dedicated server from kimsufi, it's more then enough.
and basically you don't need to seed for so long, your torrent will get scraped by other seedboxes who continue seeding it anyway.

When buying a seedbox, make sure they allow public trackers. Most seedboxes out there do not allow public trackers and will penalize you for uploading/downloading from public trackers (piratebay, extratorrent, etc). As far as seeding goes, when you notice the torrent you uploaded has died out, you can remove it / re-make and re-upload. There's really no need to remove as you can always re-make the torrent and upload to the same torrent websites again.

for linux I use rtorrent -- it's a command line torrent utility. It's nice because i can login remotely from work and manage my seeds. I have it setup so all my wife and I have to do is drop a .torrent file in a ./todo folder and when its completed it moves it to ./done.

sorry,i don't know anything about linux.
i use the server with my own windows license (you can get them for cheap).
