Torrent Question

OK, guys. I'm a little new to torrents but I think I've figured this out. I just have a question.

I uploaded a torrent to a couple of torrent sites. I ran it (seeded it?) for about a day. This morning it said there were 46 seeds, 30 or so peers.

So I stopped seeding it...I just right-clicked on the torrent in my uTorrent and hit 'stop'. It was a cracked software thing so I figured, I would just stop seeding so as not to get into any trouble.

Now, it's still listed in uTorrent with a red arrow next to it of course, and it says 4 seeds and 2 peers.

Does that mean I've lost all my seeders? Should I keep seeding it for a while longer?

Ya man you probably should, or upload it to more places too, it could be dying already and useless if nobody is going to download it anymore.

OK, I'll start seeding again and upload to more places. How many you think I should do? 10 or 20?

OK, 40 seeds, 46 peers, but no "results" since I started this yesterday.
