Torrent Downloading Help

Hello all
So it has been great reading posts! I really like it here, and am going to contribute where possible...
for now i have a quick question. Here is my situation...

I am on a gap year, and living in a boarding house in the school that I am working in. I am connected to the school servers and internet... Problem is that they have blocked so much stuff. Cant even search for proxy sites because "proxy avoidance" pops up.

I want to download some torrents - but am pretty careful as I dont want to get my school acc banned and then not be able to use the net at all. LOL

I cant use any normal torrent sites like isohunt / piratebay etc. But i found one (kat.ph) Only reason why its not blocked is cause its got nothing suspicious in the URL.

How can i download torrents online. I have tried Bitlet but my internet limits my connections and everything is channled through these tight security firewalls... I am on a proxy server aswell, and that too is a big problem...

I have tried configuring bit torrent, but seem to be a bit unsuccessful..

I guess the limitation of downloading file through torrents, varies from your location because in the Philippines, we are actually having unlimited access of downloading files. BT junkie is also good for downloading.

get a cheap vps and you can download there and then ftp files to your desktop

Did you try utorrent ? Try it .. Maybe it works for you ..

u should be able to use u torrent to do this but not the new version 3 as this is a banned client on some sites, if yiouuse another ip to just download the actual torrent files from isohunt and then email yourself the small torrent files as they are tiny and then you can load them into u torrent

I would suggest that you get a seedbox or a vps with a good connection. You will need one anyway if you plan on making money with torrents.

Atleast try different torrent clients on the list. I am sure one of them will be able to give you your desired result. Also, google and you will find some sites and methods to download torrent files to your computer. Check some net limiter kindof stuff in your laptop. Open the default router ip settings and search for QoS in the router firmware. Thanks.
