It's ok, not to bad not to good. It's really only useful if you are accessing the dark web but other than that a normal VPN should do

It also been verified, used via the cia ,so the dark side not so dark with tor.

Tor is of course a good thing anonymity is paramount online today. Regardless of how it is used I always hated when people say "If your not doing anything wrong what are you trying to hide?" That is crazy to me if I were to hack into your email account and read all your emails you send receive also monitor all the sites you visit ie bank, nsfw etc. etc. I may not have any ill intentions to do anything with that information. But would you not feel violated if you found out that I had secretly been monitoring you. We live our lives online and everything we do say like dislike is all recorded within our habits online. I take every effort to thwart this but we can't stop it completely it is just not possible due to the integration of technology in today's society. So yeah Tor for sure a good thing.

Hope this didn't come off as angry lol I am passionate about privacy and security online.

tor was created by developers associated with Hacktivismo, which has cross over with the cDc of which Mudge happens to be a member and the previous head of DARPA.. That's about as close to the TOR project as the military ever got.

This is old but my 2 cent's.

Tor is better and more secure than VPN - for illegal stuff and anonymity wise. = Tor is a bit slow but provide more privacy

VPN is better for "daily" stuff when You need extra privacy/protection online. = VPN is speed wise good solution but in terms of privacy not so good (if your not hosting it yourself)


I host 2 tor relays, Tor Exit Relay and random Tor Relay, let's say Tor Exit relays can't be trusted if You access clearweb or sites without httpS If I dump traffic passing thru ohhh boy, logins and sensitive stuff all over my screen.
