Tor, Privoxy and PRS

Hi,

I'm trying to make use of pr storm by running tor and privoxy in the same time. I'm not sure, tho if I'm using this 3 applications correctly.

I placed 127.0.0.1:8118 in the prstorm while tor and privoxy running in the bg with default settings, but I have a feeling I also need a router for this to work.

Should I buy a router?

You will probably not get good results with Tor, PRstorm needs good bandwidth.
You do not need a router of course.
Check if PRstorm needs SOCKS or HTTP proxies, verify that port 8118 is the correct one and working (using your browser)

I pretty much need you to help me on understanding what type of proxy the prstorm uses based on the list below and also if still needed, maybe you can guide me on how to check 8118 port.
below is the list of proxys that came as default with prstorm.

Those are HTTP proxies.

To test this you enter the proxy IP and port into your browser proxy configuration screen in the line HTTP and remove all other stuff.
You can look at the screenshot and help on cloakfish.com (howto section) for help on that.

I don't think prstorm will work well with tor, it will be on snake speed.
As far as I see it you have less than a promille successrate with prstorm, they just supply a gigantic list of domains, only very few of them have public ******** statistics which will count as backlink.
So that might be your main issue when working with a solution like Tor.
Best for this would probably be a private proxy, it costs like 2$ per piece/month.
You can also use your home connection for testing, but if you abuse too much your ISP will cancel the line most probably.
