Hello guys

I was thinking about the below and could not find an aswer to my question.
I am aware that the below thinking is short term, but for my goals, it could do the job.

Do TOR views on my website boost google ranking or not?
Through tor i can have different ip, so if i go to my website and spend a lot of time on each page, would this help google rank or not?

Thanks.

You mean search up your term on google and then click your website?

There are multiple tests done on this and results are mixed. Some people say it works wonders and say it doesn't work. I think you could get some positive results provided your site is already on the first page. It would mean your site is giving the best results to users and Google might start showing your site a few spots up.

However tor proxy will not work that good for this as most of them are already abused to death.

Do you think Google hasn't thought of this?

Maybe they have, maybe they have not. But your answer does not help me.

Yes something like this and thanks for the reply. More spesifically

1) If i go to Tor, then search g! '' search term'' and click on my website, would that count?

2) When i use tor and spend a lot of time on the website, would this help in terms of time spending in the page, less bounce rate etc?
Through my wp stats & google analytics, i can see that the user is recognised and all the visited pages, but does this count since it is from another search engine and browser.
Not chrome, not mozilla, not google but Tor and duckduck and go.

If someone knows an answer on the above, pelase give me your thoughts.

Thank you.

Oh..."maybe they have not"... How long did it take you to think of that? How long has to been around?
My answer DOES help you. It provides a critical thinking that can be applied elsewhere:
"Xyz forum ranks high, if I post a link, I'll improve rankings" -do you think Google thought of that?
See, keep applying it.

Now, as to if this will help .sure. just replicate 20-40% of the total traffic, already be on page 1(maybe as low as possible 4), and you might see a move of a spot or 2! Worth it? Because you'll need a clean proxy for each, not scraped, mixing systems, oh, and coming from elsewhere, discounted, like so many other things that Google doesn't control.
So, you think it is worth it?

there are sites that offer this kind of services one that come to my mind is pandabot

@patriotnews Thanks for the reply.

So the answer is negative? Through tor, visits on the website do not affect the rankings and essential metrics? If that is the answer ok.

Take into account that i am not talking about 1m views. I am talking about 5-10 sessions per day.

So Googles understands that the visitor came through tor on the website and hence the metrics are no affected?

p.s. for my specific niche keywords, i am ranking 2nd position in 1st page, whereas the first position is from a directory and not from competitors.
So even a little bit better ranking metrics would help me to gain 1st position or maybe have others of my pages to rank high as well.
