Hello 3eester,
What version of the Android software are you currently running? I looked into that phone and it comes with Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread) but it is upgradable to v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or to v4. 1 (Jelly Bean). Right now we are only supporting 3.0 and up, you can try upgrading the OS to a newer version if you have not done so already.

As for me - I hate the day when you decided to quit tapatalk.
It is freaking slow, buggy and it can jump up or down on itself (using iphone5).
Although, I have to admit >> the design has been worked out really well!
How good is it if some members prefer to use Safari rather than reading bhw on Topify even being on 3G (I'm talking about members who have topify installed already)??
I tried to leave a reply via topify, but didn't get that far (it appears if I hold a finger on the screen for a sec >> an ugly "copy" will appear and it seems I can't get rid of it)...
..closed the app, opened and now it gave me an error while I was trying to upload the "copy" screenshot (Edit: now I see that it is a general bhw problem - for some reason I can't upload even a single pic here).
... well, that is your decision to test the patience of your loyal bh-ers...
As for myself - probably I will not delete it and will wait for improvements... maybe.. :/

I've noticed quite a few "no connection errors" today too, which is a shame, because it's been working fairly well the last week.

Okay, I just installed the applicationto give it another try and here's what I have to say.
It's been 2 months now since I posted my first review, and, to be honest, nothing has changed.
The app is still buggy, slow, hard to navigate... I mean, even surfing BHW via the standard internet browser is much more convenient than using Topify! I just can not stand using it, and I am sure people who have used Tapatalk will say the same!
Just look at the review on Google Play store, 2 stars out of 5000+ downloads. And if you check the reviews, you can clearly see that people do not like it.
Isn't it possible to make it so both applications can be used to access the forum?
I am sure people would appreciate it if Tapatalk was added back.

Thanks for the feedback, I have shared it with the team. I also opened a ticket for the copy/paste bug and will keep you posted on the fix.

I'm wondering the same thing. Tapatalk support shouldn't be removed at least till Topify can be considered as a serious alternative.
To me Topify looks like an app on omega stage (and still has to reach alpha and beta stages...)
I've only used Tapatalk, but I don't recall it requiring 3rd party logins. I could be mistaken.

one of the many reasons why i decided to buy an ipad mini was to be able to use Topify so i could go back browsing BHW the way i used to and enjoyed much:With an ipad.
I dont understand the reasons behind tapatalk drop, to me it was fast and nice, not at all buggy.
I installed topify and uninstalled it after exactly 30 seconds.
And the reason is resolution on ipad. It's clearly meant to be used on phones, because it opens on a small window in the middle of the screen. There is a stupid 2x zoom button which makes everything pixelated.
Needless to say i miss tapatalk badly.

Honestly? crap software... Having to log in EVERY bloody time i want to read something on bhw sucks.
Also, the bugs are annoying! It freezes often, and guess what? I have to reenter my frigging account each time... just checking a thread "on the go" is impossible because you have to relog all the time!
I uninstalled it, takes more time to use than the mobile browser on my iphone... waste of my time!

For me the Topify is working very well - always notifying me about the subscriptions that I made. The only small problems is with the PM but I saw that they improve it in the last update.
Also - i would love some new features as the a better mentioning for the new threads - that is still bugged. But in the end is an APP that is working and was passed by the iTunes testers so is not such a "crap" as many of others said.
The movement from Tapatalk to Topify was a great move from BHW since the guys from Topify are more active and they do their best - all the good luck in further developing
