Top factors for ranking, fresh!

Hey Guys,


So recent research we did showed, that the top factors for rank your site on google are:

1. Google +1
2. Good links (as always)
3. Good on-page optimization, at least text with images.

What works the best - is mix of google +1 and contextual links, that's the real power nowadays.


I hope there will be somebody who didn't knew that, so it helped you.

This is exactly what I'm doing. I can confirm that it works. I use social signals (facebook, twitter, google +1) and guest posting, it really helps.
 
It's interesting, even if site struggles to get good ranks, g +1 helps it to be where it should be from links. :)

Yup I do something like this as well, but on a much larger scale. One of the first things I do is Google +

That is a good read, although there has been some discussion here on another thread about
the level of legitimacy that those suggestions from the Moz blog have in real effect.

G+ is hardly a significant ranking factor. I suspect Google will take social signals as an important factor since it could be easily manipulated (acquiring those links through exchanges or bots that create thousands and thousands of these accounts).

On the other hand Google is probably incorporating in their algorithm if the social link is coming from an authority profile.

Other two factors you've listed always was significant factors and always will be. I think if you've done everything as you have except the G+ part you would get the same results.
 
I honestly think the most important factor of all is lots of unique content.. lots and lots of it..
 
Inspired by this I just made my Google+ account and liked it to my site :D Hopefully it's going to increase something.

wouldn't it be funny if google would manually check each website that has a G+ page and it's not an authority ? :)

Yes You are rite.. I tried each one on my different projects I got Success..

Like G+ on one project.
Contextual on another project.

But on site optimization is the main factor. I did for all my projects.
