The other day while driving down the road.. I was thinking about seo and other stuff that usually floats around in my head, I asked my self. If I owned Google what would I have set in motion 8 years ago to protect Google from Blackhat optimized sites (cloaked, mass generated, ect..) from cluttering the Google user's search results.
1. I would have created a Blackhat Department within Google for research and development of Black hat techniques. The developed techniques would be used by Google against it's own search engine to understand how to detect and prevent web developers that use blackhat seo to exploit Google for High rankings ect.
2. Within the Google Blackhat Department there would be a team of 100 people who would portray them selfs as webmasters with expert knowledge of Blackhat knowledge. Over the past 8 years this team would have register (as users) at 1000s of webmaster, seo, blackhat and other forums posing as expert blackhats with 1000s of threads and posts.
Think about this for a second
Lets say out about 100 of the (usernames) registered at the current popular webmaster forums Digitalpoint, Sitepoint, Blackhatworld and others became well known users with 1000s of posts under there belt and when spoken everyone listened and believed.
I could go on and on but you get the picture!
Note: This is only what I would have done If I owned Google
