Top 9 in many hashtags but zero reach from hashtags

Hey everyone!

I have this problem for a month now and I cannot figure out whats going on.
I've read every instagram hashtag guide on this board and I do not see what I could be doing wrong.

My account:
Artist, 3D art niche, 35k
I have been using a ladder system for my over 300 3d art hashtags (smal,medium,big). I shuffle them every day.
I had good growth with the hashtags I use but a month ago everything stopped.

I still rank in hashtags. I tried different hashtag sizes and used different number of hashtags but there is zero reach.

I was in an engagement group were I got powerlikes. When it didn't work anymore I left.
I have no idea what's going on and would be thankful for any idea/suggestion.

This is intentional and says why, right now the page after searching for any hashtag.
My guess is that things may normalize in late January / early February.
 
I am not sure I get your first sentence. Other accounts still have reach from hashtags so it does not seam like a global thing for me?
 
IG is restricting reach through hashtags. Only top accounts get traffic through hashtags

Do you have evidence to support that claim?

Why would I have reach and growth pretty much the entire year and then none at all at the end of october?

i have noticed sudden deaths in yt channels similar way. they have huge growth and out of the blue sudden crash in metrics and low impressions and daily views from algorithm.

i wonder if it is a way of these companies intentionally doing it to slow down your growth to fame or business. etc

I think you mix correlation and causation.

Lots of big YouTube accounts simply fail because of boredom cycles of people. If you do not adapt your content people grow tired of it.
Makes also no sense from a business perspective for Instagram/Facebook or Google/YouTube to shut successful accountsw down. Thats all time spend on the platform and money.

You could explain your growth only by the hashtags, in the past ? Or was there any other factor ?

Now that you don't grow, did you change anything else ?
 
Hey I had the same problem yesterday! I got IG professional create mode installed. For a week I reached out to more or nearly as much audience via hastag. Yesterday I got only 9 people via hashtag. I posted a new picture today - ton of ppl via hashtag. After thinking about it, I came to a conclusion it was due to tags and some hashtags accociated with accounts that promise to do shutouts if you tag them... I removed them and still no handtag reach on that post alone. I have been trying to check if I am shadowbanned, but cannot prove it so far. What are your thoughts?

nah man i aint talking about boredom cycles at all.
there a mutiple channels i deal with, which all had good consistent performance, but after a few months suddenly the metrics drop overnight. i had to replace channels with new ones, and used to same content and it started to get promoted on the new channels again lol.
so it has nothing to do with boredom. its just yt killig certain channels at some point.
its more like youtube shadowbanning some channels. more like a predefined algo that controls the life of regular channels and one day suddnely stops get promoted in algorithm.

many people have lost their main source of income like that.
