  1. SEO is dead
  2. Google only ranks “fresh” content
  3. Duplicate content gets you penalized
  4. SEO is the “set it and forget it” job
  5. Social shares help you rank higher

I agree with few not at all. SEO is good if you got decent budget with patience to get results. Few myths like DEAD is not TRUE.
 
I can confirm they are myths too. Did so many tests that proved it.

Now, I understand you got a bread to earn as well, so I won't try to steal by saying that HE IS COMPLETELY RIGHT BTW!

I think these are all still important. Search engines are not looking at one thing.

However OP, would you be kind enough to explain why these are myths? It can actually be a good thread if you do.
 
Bro, when you say something is a myth, you should state the reason behind it, or you will get trolled by people who believe it's not a myth.
