Top 5,000 Alexa Ranking = Monetize?

Hi everyone,

New to here but always been lurking around reading many threads. I am looking to get into a certain niche that I enjoy and want to make a website on it, all the competitors of this certain niche have very good rankings on Alexa, like top 15 sites on the niche are 5,000 or below ranking. If I were to reach this kind of ranking would a site be making substantial amount of money from selling advertisement spaces as such? Or could a site with that good ranking still be hard to make money from? Does anyone here have a site with that kind of ranking on Alexa? My question probably makes 0 sense but ohwell, I'm sure someone understands me..

a real 5000 alexa ranking will be getting lots of traffic

Alexa is based on number of visitors to a site,

So if its real then it has some value, but if it only attracting lookers not buyers, then the value is very low

If they are buyers, You can start looking at a new Ferrari

then, if judging that the website owners are not conning alexa, then that "niche" must be having millions of searches per month.. how strong is the competition? ask yourself this question before proceeding..

Your site is in the top 5,000 Alexa and you insert your Adsense ID into it. You definitely make money $$$$!!!!

But... how make your site get into the top 5,000 Alexa (getting massive traffic)??

My website is just under 100k Alexa and I earn $5000 a month, however, to get to top 5000 Alexa you need a real site with real content and real traffic, not some cheap advertising, you need a budget of at least $20,000.

In this case you should earn at least $50,000 a month.
