Top 100 and than dissapeared... almost with every new site...

hey guys,

is that normal ?

I get a new site and than i get several types of backlinks and than i see it reaches top 100 and stays there for 3 days and then it dissappears for more than 2 weeks... is it acutally normal as it happens to every new site i start to backlink... and will it come back if i stop backlinking ?

Yes this tends to happen with new sites. I've had many that I've built links to that make it to the first page then disappear for days to weeks at a time.

Doesn't seem to matter if they're high quality high PR links or spammy links. Most of the new domains lately that I build links to seem to start ranking then disappear.

Most people would just write it off to a google dance but it seems like the google dance bouncing you out of SERPs is lasting a lot longer on newer sites.

It is called as google dance. Just keep building backlinks to your site. Do not stop link building. Your site will rank again...

Focus on social bookmarking. At least that's what worked for me.

i have face same problem , it was there in 2nd page and now it is on 22nd page

Thanks to you guys,

that google dance thing is ok i know it, but i did not expected that you get out of top1000 for over 3 weeks or so, thats always kinda annoying as it takes that long at the end. but hey... seo is good for getting patient
