Toothache so bad I almost bought an ebook

Yeah it sucks. This tooth is going to be the death of me. It's the weekend, so how am I to survive two more days with this thing?

Anyone have a home remedy that works? I'm doped up now pretty good but it's still throbbing.

You have a hole in your tooth? Go to Walmart and either get temporary tooth filling kit. If it's just a toothache just get some orajel.... and jack daniels.

I know how painful toothaches can be cause I been around people who suffered them. Im not sure what you need to do in order to relieve the pain but the guy above me gave some advice I think might be helpful. Sorry man

good stuff used it for tooth ache many years ago , syringe with clear thick fluid
put a bit on your finger rub on your gum near tooth, numb in minutes
last 20-30mins a go. rinse repeat.

Background: it's a tooth that I got a root canal on many, many years ago. I never went back for a crown. It's decided to come back to life and bite me in the ass.

So I went to the store and got some numbing medicine and that tooth filler stuff.

The numbing medicine felt great right away. The tooth filler crap was a huge mistake!! As soon as I put a chunk of it in my tooth and pushed down I almost blacked out from the pain!!!

So now I am really doped up. I'm on antibiotics too. I am praying the antibiotics take over geore the sun comes up.

I have cried from pain twice in my life (I didn't when I was shot): kidney stones and this. If you have never had a severe toothache like this you better count your blessings.

Don't forget to add some probiotics in balance, as antibiotics tend to take good bacterias with them. Before and after at least 2h of antibiotics, don't overlap them.

Good thing you're on antibiotics, that should help after a day or so. The old wives remedy is rice in a wool sock. I think they picked wool because it retains heat well. In any event, moist heat on your cheek.

Heat raw rice in a microwave, place it against your cheek and wrap your head.

Remember these old head-wrap cartoons? Hot rice or hot poultice for toothache.
