I have severe tooth ache, I have just been to see the emergency dentist amd she drilled half of the nerve out of my tooth, and now I am now in the most pain I could have ever imagined, I really need some help to get rid of the pain does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks

I've had 5 root canals so I feel ya man.... Was the tooth infected? If so, cold water or even ice might help.. Works for me because the cold reduces the swelling and heat being caused by the infection. Did they not give any pain killers? Hope ya feel better

For over the counter, you can try:

1. ibuprofen
2. orajel often applications straight to the tooth.

Otherwise I would go to your doctor or clinic about getting something stronger that will numb or some pain meds.

You need some pain killers man. Hope you know people. :P

I have pain killers but they are doing jack ****, I was just looking up some stuff see what I could gather up, I wanted to see what others had tried, cheers for all your help so far. If I had the balls I would just rip it out but I haven't so thats that idea out the window.

- add lots of salt to warm water and gargle for few minutes.

- take few advils

goodbye toothache.

GET YOUR NERVE OUT

I had a problem like this too, 2 or 3 years ago. The dentist took my tooth's nerve out and the pain has stopped.

what painkiller do u hv? if its paracetamol wont do much. Take stronger painkiller such as Ponstan (mefenamic acid) or Ibuprofen...

Swirl vinegar in your mouth always worked for me atleast temporarily.
Avoid things like mouthwash they always seem to make shit worse. And why not goto one of those 24hr shops and get the best shit ever for this nurofen meltlets (if you have them over where you live)

smoke a blunt of some fresh weed :)

--I have some vicodin in my fridge if you are interested....

I found that pain killers and ice helps numb the pain

Hope you feel better :)

Try holding some cold milk in your mouth for like two min. Sounds weird but works

I've tried that one a few times and it helps but only for a little bit, I have just rinsed out my mouth with salt water and it has eased a little but, but here's hoping. The pain killers I am taking by the way are co-dydromol which are strong but not strong enough.

P.s without sounding like a dushbag, I can't get the rest of the nerve removed as I had to go to an emergency dentist and there are no others open until Tuesday.

dent temp you can get it at any pharmacy or walmart is a temporary filling i had the same problem it will hold for like 2 weeks it works

Just wanna say no a serious note thank you for your suggestions, it has helped a lot and give me something to think about, on a good note though it seems to have calmed down a lot now, so touch wood it stays this way

Pain killers will not work, you need to find an anti-inflammatory pill such as Advil.

Believe you and me I really did think alot about this one but chickened out lol

I saw my dad do it once

He was a real real down to Earth Latvian hard man hard worker everything got shot in the war by those Russian tossers but survived running through some Woods came to England with his similar Bro.

AHH rest in conscious energy peace pops
