Hi, I am looking for some tools/software that help one make websites. Preferably ones that help you make niche and micro niche sites.

    Any good ones out there?

    a little bit off topic..

is it sensless to build up 100 in 3 months (maybe 1 site per day) with just minimal backlinks, and after that start to build links, or shall I build up one by one?

I would build 5-10 total, spend a few months working on them until each site is making 3-5$ a day, then repeat the process.

If you are serious about it, you should be able to outsource a creation of far better software than WP, for a few hundred bucks.

I'm just a IM newbie, but with a deep background in web programming, so I created my own MNS app.

Some points I find very valuable:

My application runs on my home computer, on a small virtual machine running in vmware player (free software). It's written in PHP and uses MongoDB as storage.

I add a site, chose a theme from the ones I have available, set default keywords and insert analytics / advertising block codes.

Then I start adding articles. After I'm finished, I hit one button and the whole site gets generated into its own directory (still on my home computer). Just pure static HTML, sitemap, robots, etc.

Hitting another button uploads the generated site to my VPS and it's ready to go.

The cool thing about that is that you have everything automatically backed up and stored at two locations, making portfolio-wide changes is a matter of minutes (change an ad block placement in a theme, regenerate all sites, reupload them) and the performance, oh, the performance. Basically, you should be able to serve thousands of 1000-3000 EMS sites on one average virtual private server, as it's just pure HTML.

    I use the following tools:

    Internet connection
    Firefox
    Hostgator
    Godaddy
    Fantastico WP install
My brain to write content that doesn't suck
    AdSense
    Analytics

The only other thing is SEO which I have a guy that I've used for years who does all my SEO for me.

I applaud your goals and intentions... But I think you may be looking at what you're doing with slightly 'rose-tinted' glasses.

Be very careful about creating a massive AdSense footprint churning out lots of sites into a single account. This forum is littered with the failures of people new to the AdSense/CPA MNS game...

I'm not trying to curb your enthusiasm, but undertsand that you face serious hurdles just getting to $1k per month - let alone joining the 7 figures-a-year club.

Most people on here have goals of good incomes; but check out the AdSense and money-making forums and you'll see some of the hurdles you're going to have to overcome.

Good luck anyway buddy - I hope it all works out for you.

This is the smart route; and normally only arrived at after a lot of testing and hard work. If you aspire to hundreds or even thousands of sites, and you stick to WordPress, you'll start finding that updates, security issues, SQL Load & hosting will all become a pain in the b*tt.

Through continual development of your management system and site creator, you'll end up with bullet-proof sites that have scorching fast load-times and much less security issues.
