Spyfu's free features look ok but is prerry limited. The paid version of it is actually as much or more than Semrush however, which is a more famous product.
What is the generic term for this kind of product and do you know if there are ANY free or cheaper than $40/month ones that will pull a site's organic keywords (along with the percentage of their traffic each keyword accounts for)?

That does give basic less organized help, but I'm looking for more organized analysis.
The two best I've seen (keyword country and Semrush) are VERY expensive given the simple task. I'm just asking if there is anything that can sniff out keywords, with how much traffic it's generating for them and output it into a nice simple report.

How do you use Market Samurai to detect another domain's keyword rankings?
I would love to know how to do this...
Been using Market Samurai for a long time now, but have never heard of this possibility before.

I would recommend 'Keyword Country' for discovery keywords that are pulling traffic for your competitor.
This tool alerts you every time your competitor introduces new keyword in his campaign.

ms doesn't give rankings... Op seems to be asking about finding their keywords.
For rankings you can try seo powersuite.

Completly agree!
Semrush is good investment in your IM business. By the way, I think that there're many people that provide semrush reports for a few dollars.

The point is that I don't like wasting money if there IS a free/cheap alternative.
Well as I said in the OP I don't mind spending to a degree, but I absolutely HATE paying monthly fee's for software. And if I am forced to do so I will typically look for the lowest price, which Semrush absolutely does NOT have. Keyword Country is cheaper and does the exact same thing. If I cannot find a "lifetime" software that does the same thing I will likely use KC.
