Hi, Both tools are good for auditing websites.

For checking website issues start with GSC and Screaming Frog. Both are essential and user-friendly for beginners.

SEMrush is good for checking the website issues.

If your goal is to check website issues screaming frog works perfectly. For backlinking i recommend Ahrefs. You can also buy an affordable version from shared sources available.

Would recemond you using Ubersuggest & one personally. What i use is pagespeed.web.dev.

It checks all the things and Also Tells You what is missing.

Use Screaming Frog for checking website issues.

Ahrefs and Semrush are great but they focus more on backlinks, keyword tracking and overall site health reports. If you want a free option you can try Google Search Console.

Any of the tools mentioned above are suitable for website audits. The only question is which specific type of audit you are planning to run, along with your preference in terms of usability and price, since pricing for this software varies.

For technical website issues, Screaming Frog is the most practical starting point, as it clearly surfaces crawl errors, broken links, redirects, and on page issues. Pairing it with Google Search Console adds real world insight into indexing, coverage, and search visibility. As analysis matures, tools like Ahrefs or Semrush provide valuable context, but strong technical foundations should always come first
