I had LinuxFreak1985 setup my mail server and he did a great job and has a 5 star rating on freelancer. Not sure what got him banned here but he did everything he could to get me up and running.
 
You can obviously do the Black Hat version (that's what this site is about) but I would advise that you look at the CAN-SPAM regulation for sending emails.

It's always good to know the law if you want to go against it!
 
How to get interspire to work I download the files but don't know how to use it and what hosts are recommended? and the settings?
 
You need a linux vps + script + postfix + correct configuration to send safe bulk mails.
 
I would definitely stick with interspire marketer script.
 
I have a custom (C#) smtp cycler that sends using gmail, but I can't get around gmail captchas (daily send limit). Any suggestions besides recaptcha?
 
Definately take advantage of some of the offers to help you get set up and running on a VPS system. These guys are super-awesome in what they do and, even more fun, they rock at helping out a fellow JV or Donor.

Working with a limited budget ive had great success with the free version of mailchimp. Also has good reporting data.
 
I am interested in getting someone to setup a VPS with email marketing software so that I can send to lists of people who have not opt-ed in.
